~ REST, ROOT, REMEMBER ~

An afternoon of regenerative self-care

Thursday * March 31 * 3pm - 6pm pst $40 Register on Eventbrite

In the first moments of spring, we awaken the senses, replenish our bodies, recharge our nervous system, boost our immunity, and discover the profound healing available to us when we slow down, soften and surrender to simplicity.

The afternoon workshop includes:

  • Gentle movement

  • Breathwork to guide the body into deep release

  • Restorative postures held for extended lengths of time to promote regeneration at a cellular level

  • Journal reflection

  • Vocal exercises to unlock the heart

*** Appropriate for all level students, restorative yoga is the perfect antidote for the stress accumulated by a busy life of multi-tasking. Props are used to hold the body so the body over sustained time is able to soften and surrender. This leads to profound levels of release and calm.

Rested, we are ready for the world but not held hostage by it, rested we care again for the right things and the right people in the right way. In rest we reestablish the goals that make us more generous, more courageous, more of an invitation, someone we want to remember, and someone others would want to remember too. —David Whyte
